Notes:

They enter the kitchen, dining room, and upstairs in this scene. Damuddy is "mentioned" in this passage because the children never see her corpse.

Interesting geographic note, they go up the hill past the barn through the gate and on the brick walk to the house.

In this long scene, the Compson children and Versh make their way to the house. There they are met by Jason Sr. and Dilsey who continuously tell the children to be quiet. In another part of the house, they are having a wake for Damuddy and Caroline is in the next room crying. Near the end Roskus shows up with the milk he has been milking in the barn. Benjy goes down to Versh's house.

Summary:

Benjy remembers more from the evening in 1898: the children and Versh go up to the house, where their father is waiting.
