These unnamed boarders - "juries and horse- and muletraders" - live in the Compson house after it has been vacated by the Compsons (331) .

Note: 
CUT: Interestingly, Ike McCaslin may be among them, since in <em>Go Down, Moses</em> we read that Ike lived in "one small cramped fireless rented room in a Jefferson boarding-house where petit juries were domiciled during court terms and itinerant horse- and mule-traders stayed" (287).
