Summary:
It a series of fragments, Quentin remembers several events that cohere around a vivid memory of Caddy's wedding six weeks earlier: the formal invitation for it, telling his father he and Caddy "committed incest" (which probably dates from the previous summer, but which would have kept her from marrying Herbert, 77), and her reaction to Benjy's bellowing at the wedding itself.
