Dink Quistenberry's wife is "one of Mr Snopes's sisters or nieces or something" (378). "Mr Snopes" is Flem, but it's much harder to know how his "sister or niece or something" is related to him and the rest of the Snopeses. In "Barn Burning" and The Hamlet, Flem's father Ab has two daughters (described as twins in "Barn Burning," where one of whom is named Net), but there is no mention of either in the trilogy - unless Mrs. Quistenberry is one of them. It's hard to fit "or something" into a data base, so we are identifying her as Flem's sister, and the unnamed twin, but that is an interpretative choice.
