This section of Digital Yoknapatawpha contains examples of how the project's databases can be deployed and analyzed toward various interpretations of the world Faulkner created. In these efforts we are also trying to use the capacities of electronic technology to explore how critical work can be presented in new ways, while remaining true to the standards of traditional scholarship. We are still very much at the beginning of these explorations, and hope this section will continue to grow in ways that we cannot yet imagine.
